I’m a fan of Chris Brown’s self titled debut album and I actually bought it (which is saying something seeing as how he was a teeny bopper and all) and it was a well crafted consistent Pop effort with great writing and ill production. That said, I was just listening to his new album entitled, “Exclusive” via MTV’s The Leak and I wish I could say the same about this one. Unfortunately, Chris Jive commissioned every hot producer and writer to jump on board and try to out do one another and I think there were entirely too many cooks in the kitchen.
